Usher Returns with "Versus"

I know you guys just couldn't get enough of Usher with his hits such as, "There Goes My Baby", "Hey Daddy", and of course "O.M.G." don't you worry Usher has some new songs that he wants to release just in time for the end of the Summer!

Usher is planning to release a extension of Raymond v. Raymond on August 24. The new album will be entitled, "Versus" and will have EIGHT... YES... EIGHT new songs. One of the new songs entitled, "DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love" that features Pitbull, has aready been released and you can hear it on Ushers Offical Website.

We at PBLA are very excited to hear the new tracks off this one.. How about you guys?????

The King of Pop LIVES!!

NEW MICHAEL JACKSON VIDEO GAME! Yes that’s right.. I didn’t stutter y'all, get ready if you already didn’t know how..learn to moonwalk and do lots of other amazing dance moves that the King of Pop had blessed us with. Due at the end of this year, from Ubisoft.

The game is still yet untitled, the game will be based on performance, so dancing and singing is included!

The Jackson game will be available for NintendoWii, X-Box 360, and Playstation 3.

Wrongful Death Lawsuit On Behalf of Notorious B.I.G. Dismissed

Ending a long chapter of the unsolved death of one of the greatest rappers of all time, Notorious B.I.G. .. a federal judge in LA has dismissed an 8-year-old wrongful death suit filed against the city from Biggie’s family.

Biggie died at the young age of 24, after being fatally shot at the VIBE magazine party in LA back in 97’. Since then no one has been charged with the killing. This case has outlasted it’s original judge, Florence-Marie Cooper of the United States District Court, who died in January at 69-years-old.

This case was originally filed in 2002, by the members of BIG’s family. BIG’s family accused the LA Police Department of covering up police involvement in the killing. Both sides have accused the others of foul play. In 2005 the judge ordered mistrial on the means of withheld evidence. On April 5, with the new judge handling the case, Jacqueline H. Nguyen dismissed the suit without prejudice.

So to sum things up, the LA police are still claiming that they aren’t any closer to identifying Biggie’s killer and in addition to needing new information they are “dealing with people who are not overly communicative with law enforcement”.

SMH May BIG R.I.P. Someone out there knows that actually happened, but if they didn’t come out before.. I doubt they will come out now.. How unfortunate.. But one thing remains BIGGIE WILL REMAIN in history…. BABY BABAYYYY!

MJ and Cirque Du Soleil

Can you say $$$$$$ ?! Yeah we can too..!

We are all familiar with the whole Cirque Du Soleil shows that are shown in Vegas. Well get this.. MJ’s Estate and Cirque Du Soleil have signed a massive deal that will be based around MJ!

Coming toward the end of 2010 there will be a show focused on MJ’S music and dance styles!

There will also be a second show that will be loaded with 3D technology and special effects which will open in 2012!

New Kanye Album to Drop

Kanye West is finally putting work in the studio for a new album titled, Good Ass Job. On Yeezy’s effort, expect collabos with Drake, Q-Tip, and RZA of the Wu-tang Clan.

It is said that Kayne will be returning to his “New York hip-hop roots” working with producers such as RZA, No I.D. and Pete Rock.

Look out for Good Ass Job to drop around June 2010!
